The standard kitchen cost starts in the $75K range, and can go $150K plus for the premium or expanded options.

The three biggest, and most variable, costs in a kitchen renovation are cabinetry, appliances, and countertops. For examples, custom kitchen cabinets can range anywhere from $20K all the way up to 100K+ depending on the linear feet amount, the customizations, and type of finishing involved. This example holds true for both appliances and countertops.
The other significant cost driver is reformatting the layout. Even a rework of the appliance locations can necessitate plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work to accommodate it.
